Ephedra sinica is a small shrub with green straight up small branches and small flowers.  <\/p>\n<h3>Ingredients<\/h3>\n<p>  Ephedra (Ephedra Sinica).  <\/p>\n<h3>Use<\/h3>\n<p>  To make tea, pick the green fresh branches. Use 5 grams per cup, and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain the tea and drink it when it has cooled. Honey can be added to the tea to enhance the taste.  <\/p>\n<h3>Breeding information<\/h3>\n<p>  The Ephedra plant is easy to grow. Plant the seeds outdoors in summer and otherwise indoors. The ambient temperature for germination is about 20 degrees. It grows best in a warm, dry climate with plenty of sun.
