Kanna (Sceletium tortuosum) is a small plant native to South Africa, where three hundred years ago the Khoikhoi chewed the roots for euphoric effects. The Dutch who used to come to South Africa logically called it “kaugoed. It grows to a length of about 30 cm with low branches and thick, fleshy leaves. The plant has beautiful small yellow flowers.Growing the Kanna plant is similar to growing a cactus and thus generally considered very easy.

Breeding information
Kanna seeds are very simple to grow. Put some cactus potting soil in a poke, lightly press the seeds into this and give some water. The germination process can take from two weeks to two months.
