The 9 step plan for Golden Teacher mushroom grow kit

With the step-by-step plan below, you can maximize your mushroom harvest. That way you have more magic mushrooms and can enjoy a trip more often or with more friends.

1. Wash your hands thoroughly and clean the outside of the GrowKit with a clean, wet cloth. Remove the lid, but save it for step 3.
2. Fill the GrowKit with lukewarm water (20ºC) to the brim. Replace the lid and let the GrowKit soak for 5 to 50 min max. Note: Never soak for more than one hour.
3. After soaking, remove the lid from the GrowKit and carefully pour off the excess water. Allow the GrowKit to drain for 5 to 10 seconds.
4. Add lukewarm water (20ºC) to the grow bag: For the 2100cc GrowKit: 1 cup (0.25 liter).For the 1200cc GrowKit: 1 cup (0.25 liter).
5. Place the GrowKit in the grow bag. Make sure the water does not go over the edge of the GrowKit.
6. Close the grow bag by making a wrap at the top and securing it with two paper clips (part of the GrowKit package).
7. Place the grow kit in a place out of direct sunlight. Do not place the GrowKit under a lamp or on or near a stove or heat source. The ideal temperature is between 20 and 25 º C. “Leave the bag closed until the pre-pins begin to form” (this may take one or two weeks) At this stage, the kit does not need oxygen, but high levels of CO2.
8. “After the pre-pins started to grow” Moisten the kit daily with a spray bottle (1-2 pumps maximum). At this stage, the mushrooms need fresh H20 and O2 and the CO2 must escape. This is also important after harvesting.
9. In two weeks, the first mushrooms will be visible. Be patient, it may take longer for the first mushrooms to grow. Mushrooms should be harvested just before the membrane under the cap begins to loosen.

The harvest: gently grasp the stem, gently turn the stem left and right and then gently pull it up to pull out the mushroom as completely as possible. In this way, it is possible for new mushrooms to grow again.

How do you prepare for a trip with Golden Teacher mushrooms?
