Tepi large V

A“Tepi large V” is a blowgun traditionally used by indigenous tribes in South America, mainly in the Amazon. It is used to blow herbal preparations, including shamanic snuff such as rapé, directly into a participant’s nostrils. The goal is to provide a quick and intense experience of the snuff. Rapé is a sacred shamanic snuff powder often made from various medicinal plants and tobacco.

Use

Take a small amount of rapé and place it at the end of the tepi. The recipient covers one nostril and the administering agent uses the tepi to blow the rapé into the open nostril.
