Damiana (Turnera diffusa): A Spanish missionary first reported that Mexican Indians made a drink from damiana leaves, added sugar and drank it for its supposed power to enhance love. Damiana has a long history in traditional herbal medicine around the world and has been used as a classic tonic for depression, anxiety, sexual dysfunction, debilitation, bedwetting, menstrual disorders, stomach ulcers and constipation. Since 1888, Damiana has been documented in scientific literature and was traditionally used by physicians between 1888-1940 to improve sexual function in both men and women, as well as for its positive effects on the reproductive organs.
Maca root: The studies on maca are compelling. Multiple studies have shown that consuming maca increases subjective reports of sexual desire. It may also help with SSRI-induced sexual dysfunction. This happens without adjustment of testosterone or estrogen levels, proving that our libido can come from our brain. The effects of maca are much greater when taken regularly
Cordyceps militaris: A medicinal fungus that has been used for centuries, cordyceps increases the production of the molecule adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in the body, which is essential for providing energy to muscles. It has also shown the potential to inhibit inflammation-related events and support the adrenal and reproductive organs, improving cell energy production and oxygenation for both overall and libido-boosting benefits.
Vitamin B12: plays an essential role in red blood cell formation, cell metabolism, nerve function and DNA production.
